MRC workshop on inflammation and Neuroinflammation projects call
The MRC is holding a one-day workshop in neuroinflammation aimed at early career scientists, on 10 February 2014. MRC's Neurosciences and Mental Health Board (NMHB) and Infections and Immunity Board (IIB) have recognised neuroinflammation to be an important area of scientific opportunity, that aligns with MRC's strategic objectives in resilience, repair and replacement, and living a long and healthy life.
The NMHB/IIB workshop aims to stimulate interest in the areas of inflammation, immunology and neurodegeneration, and is particularly aimed to engage early career researchers. Please click on the relevant links for the workshop advert and application form. The deadline to apply to attend the workshop ends Friday 10th January 2014.
MRC would also like to draw your attention to the forthcoming ERA-NET call for European Research Projects on Neuroinflammation (closing date for outlines 10th March 2014, http://www.neuron-eranet.eu/index.php). MRC has committed 1.2M € to fund UK submissions to this call.
