Call open for Cambridge Neuroscience Interdisciplinary Workshops
Following a successful bid to the Isaac Newton Trust, Cambridge Neuroscience invites proposals for a series of four funded workshops in neuroscience that will promote novel interactions between laboratories within Cambridge working in different areas of neuroscience.
A workshop may focus on a particular hot topic with speakers addressing the topic from very different perspectives. Alternatively, it may focus on a new research technique, exploring the different uses of that technique across different branches of neuroscience or may revisit the theme of one of our previous workshops. Speakers should be a mix of PI's and senior postdocs. You will receive help with programme development and all logistics for the workshop.
We have held 7 different workshops on a variety of topics between 2015 and 2017 (see below), which have led to increased collaborations, joint funding bids, consolidation of communities and larger conferences. These workshops have been particularly successful in terms of networking, mentoring, collaboration and creativity. For more information on previous successful workshops, please see here.

The deadline for proposals is Friday 31st August 2018
Workshops will be held in Michaelmas and Lent of the 2018/2019 academic year
