Crash course in Neuroscience
An introductory course for those who have not done undergraduate neuroscience and need to learn the basics.
This course received very positive feedback in previous years.
Dates: 2nd, 3rd, 4th December 2009
The course will introduce some of the brain's major features and what we think they do. The first day will be devoted to the organisation of the brain, and which parts do what. The second will focus on glial cells and the third on the nerve cell (neuron). Please note that this is a very general introduction, but it may enable you to attend more advanced courses if you wish.
