Applications are invited for the position of coordinator for the Cambridge Neuroscience initiative. This role is central to the success of Cambridge Neuroscience, which is a joint strategic initiative of the Schools of Biological Sciences and Clinical Medicine.
The post-holder will work with academics from across the University to support the interdisciplinary scientific community in neuroscience. This will involve developing a programme of scientific events, identifying opportunities for interdisciplinary research collaborations, helping to prepare funding proposals, reviewing teaching provision and managing the creation of online and print materials.
Applicants should have a PhD in neuroscience or a related field, and administrative or project management experience. They will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in facilitation and consensus-building, and a good understanding of the University environment.
