International Workshop on Neuropsychological Rehabilitation of People with Acquired Brain InjuryWanted: Post doc Rehab-Oriented researchers required to apply for workshop in Brazil More information and application form available at: http://tinyurl.com/jcsy5kg Here is some basic information: the closing date will be 8 Jan. The eligibility will be a) people interested in neuropsychological rehabilitation (broadly defined) b) who would like to spend a week with international mentors and colleagues c) who are <10years post-doc (ie you hold a doctorate, recently awarded, in relevant field), with aspirations to continue your career to improve rehab and reduce disadvantage d) affiliated to a UK hospital or university - Experience and relevance of the applicant’s research area to the workshop
- Motivation and contribution to the aims of the workshop - Description of the long term impact expected through the participation in the workshop - Ability to disseminate workshop’s outcomes

FAQSWho are the Mentors?: This workshop was conceived by Ana Paula and Andrew Bateman during Ana Paula's sabbatical at Oliver Zangwill Centre. We will lead the workshop along with UK mentors Prof Helen Dawes (Oxford Brookes) & Dr Jess Fish (Oliver Zangwill Centre). The mentors from Brazil are Prof Izabel Augusta Hazin Pires and Prof Rochel Paz Fonseca
What will we discuss? The programme to be released shortly will be further shaped by those present, but planning a future international multicentre study will be a key outcome, outcome measurement, intervention protocols, and many further ideas will no doubt be explored.
