Do you work in Parkinson’s Disease research?
A new grant is available (a joint initiative between MRC Technology and Parkinson’s UK) to support research into new antibody and small molecule drug targets for the disease-modifying treatment of or alleviation of symptoms associated with Parkinson’s disease. The deadline for applications is 28th October with the form available on the following link: www.callfortargets.org/parkinsons/.
This initiative has allocated £150,000 to support grants that seek to explore target validation and disease association of novel targets for Parkinson’s disease, and demonstrate key proof-of-concept data linking modulation of the target to disease. Successful projects will also be eligible to collaborate with the collaborative drug discovery centre at MRC Technology, accessing their antibody, high-throughput screening and medicinal chemistry expertise.
If you have any questions about the call, please contact Dr Duncan Young. Further information and an application pack can be downloaded from the following website http://www.callfortargets.org/parkinsons/.
