CamBRAIN are looking for another social secretary!

CamBRAIN: The Cambridge Neuroscience Society is one of the largest young-investigator communities across the globe with over 800 members The main objective of CamBRAIN is to create a social platform that fosters collaboration and communication amongst young neuroscientists at the University of Cambridge. In addition to academic talks, presentations and workshops intended for personal and career development, we also run a series of social events that allow our members to share experiences and build successful networks.


We are looking for another social secretary to join our executive committee. The role of the social secretary is to:

  • Organise events for which the primary purpose is socialising or networking, including but not limited to talks, quizzes and pub meetings.
  • Liaising with the junior and senior treasurers where the procurement of goods or materials is necessary for these events.
  • Supporting other executive committee members in organising and running events, helping secure venues, speakers, preparing posters, advertising etc.
