Two University Lectureship posts available at Department of Psychology

Applications are invited for the posts of University Lectureship in the Department of Psychology to take up appointment from 1 September 2014, or as soon as possible thereafter.

Two University Lectureship posts are available with the possibility of appointment at Senior Lectureship level for an appropriately qualified candidate. The salary for a Senior University Lectureship is £50,688 - £53,765 per annum. The salary for a University Lectureship is £37,756 - £47,787 per annum.

Candidates in one of the following areas of experimental psychology may be preferred: cognitive and social neuroscience, including decision-making; neuropsychology; learning and memory; hearing; quantitative methods and behavioural genetics. They should be qualified to PhD level and have research achievements, together with a strong record of successfully developing and delivering undergraduate teaching (including medical students) at university level.

Standard duties for a University Lecturer include teaching and research, examining, supervision and administration. The posts are based in central Cambridge.
