Trevor Robbins receives Society of Biological Psychiatry 2017 Gold Medal Award

The Society of Biological Psychiatry has announced Professor Trevor Robbins as the recipient of the Society’s 2017 Gold Medal Award. This award is special as it is given for lifetime achievement in advancing our understanding and treatment of psychiatric illness

Trevor Robbins has been recognized for his fundamental contributions to the understanding of cortico-striatal function and its role in many psychiatric disorders and addictions, and for his work bridging mechanisms of pathology to new treatments, among his many other contributions.

The award and $5,000 will be presented at the Society’s 72nd Annual Scientific Convention & Meeting, May 18-20, 2017, at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel.

Cambridge Neuroscience would like to congratulate Trevor on this tremendous achievement.
