Cambridge Neuroscience Coordinator position available

Department of Experimental Psychology. Applications are invited for the position of Coordinator for the Cambridge Neuroscience initiative (www.neuroscience.cam.ac.uk). This role is central to the success of Cambridge Neuroscience, which is a University Strategic Initiative and a joint strategic priority of the Schools of Biological Sciences and Clinical Medicine.

The post-holder will work with academics from across the University to support the interdisciplinary scientific community in neuroscience. This will involve developing a programme of scientific events, identifying opportunities for interdisciplinary research collaborations, helping to prepare funding proposals, reviewing teaching provision and managing the creation of online and print materials.

Applicants should ideally have a PhD in neuroscience or a related field and administrative or project management experience. They will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in facilitation and consensus-building, and a good understanding of the University environment.
