Cambridge Neuroscience welcomes new clinical Co-Director

As of October 1 2017, Cambridge Neuroscience welcomed a new Clinical Co-Director, Professor Paul Fletcher from the Department of Psychiatry.

Paul (pictured top right) is the Bernard Wolfe Professor of Health Neuroscience and is interested in the neurobiology of mental illness and the cognitive neuroscience of appetite and over-eating. Paul will replace Professor Ed Bullmore (pictured below right), who has been in position since October 2013.

Cambridge Neuroscience would sincerely like to thank Ed for all his efforts leading Cambridge Neuroscience (together with Professor Bill Harris until 2015 and then with Professor Ole Paulsen until 2017). Ed was heavily involved in strategic development of Cambridge Neuroscience through to its graduation as an Interdisciplinary Research Centre. He was instrumental in a number of projects including the RAND bibliometric review of Cambridge Neuroscience, the strategic Research Review of Neuroscience at Cambridge, and of course BRAINFest in 2017. Thankfully, Ed will remain on the Cambridge Neuroscience committee as Head of Department of Psychiatry.
