Visit of Professor James Barkovich to CambridgeTo coincide with the visit to Cambridge of Professor James Barkovich from UCSF (http://profiles.ucsf.edu/jim.barkovich) we are hosting a couple of events which may be of interest. On Tuesday 13th September at 1pm Professor Barkovich will be speaking at the Clinical Neuroscience Seminar (Neuroscience Seminar Room, B-Spur – en route to Outpatients just before the neurocritical care unit). Also speaking at that seminar will be Dr Manju Kurian, Paediatric Neurologist from Great Ormond Street. At 3.30 on Tuesday 13th September Professor Barkovich and Prof Mary Rutherford from King’s College London, will be at a joint reporting session where we will be reviewing a number of MRI scans from infants in whom we have clinical outcome data. On Wednesday 14th September we are hosting a 1-day seminar on Imaging Technologies for the Developing Brain. The meeting is being held in the Herchel Smith Building for Brain and Mind Science on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus (programme and map attached).
