Neurobiology Post Doc postition available at LMBPostdoctoral Scientist – Neurobiology The MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology is one of the birthplaces of molecular biology and is an internationally renowned centre for fundamental biomedical research. Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Scientist position in the group of Dr Ingo Greger to study AMPA-glutamate receptor-mediated synaptic plasticity. In collaboration with Professors Ole Paulsen (Cambridge University) and Jason Chin (MRC LMB) the project is aimed at elucidating AMPA receptor dynamics during synaptic plasticity using orthogonal chemistry, electrophysiology and super-resolution microscopy techniques. For this interdisciplinary project, candidates should have a PhD and good experience with electrophysical recordings as well as imaging techniques. Successful applicants will be awarded a 3-year Career Development Fellowship/MRC Postdoctoral Training Scheme. The fellowship is a training and development position for a post-doctoral scientist who has recently completed their doctoral studies, or is moving into a new research discipline.
