Big Bid Fund: Support for preparation of large bids
The Big Bids Fund, which is designed to support some of the expenses associated with the preparation of large-scale cross-School funding bids is available to members of the University.
The support offered by the Fund is flexible according to the needs of individual proposals. For guidance, an allocation of up to £10k may be made to individual applications, although the sum available will depend on the value and nature of the bid. The kinds of activity that may be funded include:
§ Expenses related to convening collaborators, holding workshops and creating bid materials;
§ Short-term support for bid facilitation, consultancy fees, project management or administration;
§ Website creation or development.
Applications should demonstrate strong academic leadership from at least two Schools. Further information and an application form is available to download from the website. This is a rolling fund, with no set deadlines for applications.
Should you have any questions about the Fund, please contact Rosalyn Gregory or Gordana Najdanovic by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org .
