Restricted call: EPSRC Healthcare Impact Partnerships 2018/19

Restricted call: EPSRC Healthcare Impact Partnerships 2018/19 (Internal deadline 29 June 2018)

The EPSRC Healthcare Technologies theme has announced a call for the Healthcare Impact Partnerships 2018/19. A budget of up to £5 million is available to support projects that progress previous EPSRC - funded research, that completed on or after 01 April 2013 (inclusive) or are due to finish by 01 April 2019, towards impact within a healthcare application. Proposals are expected to build upon existing strengths and expertise and demonstrate potential to address an unmet healthcare need and/or offer significant added value over current or alternative healthcare solutions. Applicants are required to work in partnership with both clinical and business partners to advance their previous research outputs towards impact within EPSRC remit.

All applicants are required to hold previous EPSRC research grant relevant for this call. Applicants may not apply with training grants (including Centres for Doctoral Training), network grants (including Bridging the Gaps awards), platform grants, existing Healthcare Impact Partnerships or any other EPSRC award which was not primarily aimed at conducting research. Applicants who have received funds through institutional awards such as the Impact Acceleration Accounts may not use these as qualifying grants.

EPSRC expects that Universities will only put forward the most promising projects and requires that the Research Offices are aware of all Intentions to Submit.

The Call Guidance document can be founded here.
