This year’s event will welcome Professor Sharon Peacock to the stage as keynote speaker. Professor of Public Health and Microbiology; Director of the National Infection Service at Public Health England; a Non-Executive Director at Cambridge University Hospitals, among other roles, Professor Peacock is a renowned microbiologist with personal experience of global health in Southeast Asia.

The event will also shine a light on the successes and challenges of health partnership working, bringing together individuals from Cambridge and across the region. With speakers from within the CGHP partnerships including our visiting Ugandan partners, among other global health advocates, there will be a series of stimulating flash talks and presentations exploring questions and solutions relating to global health today. Informal drinks and networking will then wrap up the evening.
