Earn £30 and get a picture of your brain!

We are looking for volunteers (Healthy English native speakers; right-handed; aged 18-35 years; with normal to corrected-to-normal vision) to take part in an fMRI study being conducted by researchers in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cambridge. Testing will involve making several decisions and pressing buttons on a button box while lying in an MRI scanner. Testing will take place at the MRC-CBU on Chaucer Road and the entire session lasts for 90 minutes (only 60 minutes of MRI scanning). MRI involves lying inside a narrow space in a very strong magnet, so you should not take part if you have any metal in your body (although tooth fillings are fine), are Claustrophobic, or pregnant or if you have dyslexia.

You will be paid £30 for your participation, and you will get a picture of your brain!

If you are interested in taking part in the study, please email David Vogelsang (dav26@cam.ac.uk) and he will be in touch to arrange a suitable time.
