New Horizons in Pre Clinical MRI

When

April 27th 2016, 13:30-18:00

Where

Lucia Windsor Room

Description

With the University's investment in a new 9.4T MRI scanner in West Cambridge, our latest workshop brings together leading scientists in preclinical imaging from the UK and internationally to foster links and discuss the possibilities that high-field imaging can bring to the Cambridge Neuroscience community. Topics will include the use of resting state fMRI and diffusion MRI to identify connectivity fingerprints for comparative neuroscience, high-resolution structural morphometry and spectroscopy in models of neurological disease in addition to using MRI to refine targeted surgery.

We welcome researchers from across the University to attend this workshop and discuss how preclinical imaging might benefit their research.

The workshop is organised by Dr Stephen Sawiak and Professor Angela Roberts in conjunction with Cambridge Neuroscience.
