We are pleased to invite you to join us at a joint Cambridge Language Sciences & Cambridge Neuroscience Interdisciplinary Workshop on "Language, Brains and Machines", led by Dr Paula Buttery and Dr Mirjana Bozic. This will be held on 15th October 2018 in Cambridge (13:00-18:00, with drinks and networking from 17:00) at the MRC Cognition & Brain Sciences Unit lecture theatre. The format will be an afternoon of short talks by PIs and senior postdocs from Cambridge, and plenty of formal and informal time for discussion over refreshments. The aim is to explore the opportunity presented by Cambridge research strengths in neuroscience, speech and language technology, and linguistics to lead new research in the emerging field of computational neurolinguistics. The event will be an opportunity to take stock of the research landscape within the University, with snapshots from a range of disciplinary perspectives. The workshop is free to attend but registration is required for catering purposes. Register Here
