Effectively translating neuroscience for teaching practice: opportunities and next steps

When

October 13th 2017 12:30-18:00

Where

Murray Edwards College, University of Cambridge

Description

On 18 April 2016 we launched a series of ESRC-funded research seminars on The Educated Brain. The series is unique in that it is supported and coordinated by three University of Cambridge Interdisciplinary Centres and Strategic Research Initiatives (Cambridge NeuroscienceCambridge Public Policy and Cambridge Language Sciences).
The first seminar covered Infancy and Early Childhood while the second covered Late Childhood and Adolescence.
This is the third and final event in the Educated Brain series, where education, psychology and neuroscience researchers come together with teachers and practitioners to better understand how we learn, and how we can promote learning across the lifespan through policy and practice.

This event is supported by the ESRC and Learnus.
