CamBRAIN: Neuroethics Panel Discussion - Gaming

When

Monday February 22nd 6pm-8pm

Where

Lightfoot Room, Divinity School, St John's College

Description

CamBRAIN: The Cambridge Neuroscience Society presents a stimulating series of neuroethics panel discussions led by young investigators with an interest and expertise in Neuroscience.

Chaired by Dr Michelle Ellefson, in the second session of this series, a panel of young investigators will discuss adolescent gaming and ask the question whether gaming enhances or inhibits learning in young people.

The event will be held in the Lightfoot Room, at the Divinity School (St John's College, St Johns Street, Cambridge, CB2 1TP), from 6-8pm on Monday 22nd February 2016, followed by a drinks reception in the Central Hall.

We hope that this initiative will provide both neuroscientist and non-neuroscientists the opportunity to analyse and reflect upon the impact of neuroscience in the wider context of society.

Registration is FREE, but required.
