Interests

My PhD investigated the role of visual attention in naturalistic, dynamic scenes, in this case road crossing scenes. As well as how changes in visual attentional control through development and ageing impact on road crossing decisions.

Currently I am a research assistant in Dr Alex Clarke's lab assisting with their research investigating how the environment impacts the dynamics of visual and semantic processing of objects.

Overall I am interested in visual attentional control, and the associated neural processes, in the real world, how it impacts our day to day lives, and how it differs from visual attentional control in the lab.
