    University Position
    Research Associate

    Interests

My research focuses on understanding neuronal and synaptic mechanisms underlying learning and memory. My work integrates experimental approaches to investigate the effects of synaptic transmission and plasticity that enable encoding of information. In my current project, I study how neuronal activity patterns and neuromodulators drive protein synthesis dynamics in neurons and glia cells. Furthermore, I also investigate how these processes are altered in neurodegenerative disorders, particularly in the neuropathophysiology of Alzheimer's disease.
