    Interests

The primary motive of my research is to further understand the role that the superior colliculus plays in mouse movement and decision-making. I employ in vivo extracellular electrophysiology, optogenetics and the design of novel behavioural tasks in order to examine the cellular and system basis of movements generated by the superior colliculus and representation of sensory information and egocentric space in the mouse brain.
