Interests

Sophie is a Wellcome Trust PhD Fellow and Specialty Registrar in Emergency Medicine.

Her research focuses on the development of decision tools for the prognosis and management of traumatic brain injury in the emergency setting. Her previous research has concentrated on using circulating blood biomarkers and advanced imaging techniques (such as quantitative MRI) for this purpose.

This is closely intertwined with her interest in methodological research including for example the handling of missing data and data harmonization.
