Dr Sarah Mason![]() University positionResearch Associate DepartmentsDepartment of Clinical Neurosciences InstitutesCambridge Centre for Brain Repair Home pagehttp://thebarkerlab.co.uk/hunting... Research ThemeInterestsMy research interests are: 1) Better defining the neuropsychological profile of presymptomatic and early Huntington's disease using fMRI scanning and behavioural testing. With a particular interest in determining the factors which underpin the cognitive heterogeneity of the disease. 2) Understanding the role of apathy in Huntington's disease, how it evolves with advancing disease and its relationship to cognitive processes such as reward processing, decision making and emotional. 3) Exploring social cognition in Huntington's disease.
