Puberty is associated with a period of psychological change concomitant with structural changes in the brain. An endocrinological association has been proposed. In the context of education, the effects on executive function, particularly the social cognition, behaviour and the inclusion of boys is of particular interest. Through investigation, we hope to better understand the relationship between testosterone, pubertal stage, social cognition and adolescent boys’ behaviour in the school context.
