Miss Patricia Vazquez Rodriguez![]() University positionPhD student DepartmentsDepartment of Clinical Neurosciences InstitutesResearch ThemeInterestsMy work focuses on clinicopathological correlations and biomarker evaluation of a tau radioligand in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). PSP is at a positive turning point, following decades of hard won progress in understanding the biology of the disease and seeking recognition of patients and carer’s needs. Measuring this progressive tau pathology in human PSP using positron emission tomography (PET) will be a major advance towards understanding the spread and consequences of PSP pathology, and in accelerating curative therapies.
