Interests

I work with Dr Lucy Cheke in the Cognition and Motivated Behaviour Lab. I’m interested in exploring the factors that affect episodic memory development in children. While previous research has concentrated on the emergence of episodic memory in the early years, few investigations have explored this development through middle childhood and adolescence. Furthermore, the individual lifestyle factors that result in variation in this development are not well understood. My work investigates how cultural and individual differences in lifestyle, with particular emphasis on diet and physical activity, impact these developments. I’m also interested in the impact of COVID-19 infection on Memory and Cognition.
