I work at the Institute of Metabolic Science in the lab of Professor Sue Ozanne. We are interested in how the early life environment (pre- and postnatal) contributes to lifelong risk of obesity and metabolic disease. My studies focus on the impact of maternal obesity on the developing mesolimbic reward pathway and its effects on food preferences and motivation in later life. Research Focus
