Interests

I am a full-time researcher with a background in public health medicine. My research interests lie on mental health promotion and the effects of lifestyle on health. My main focus has been studying the effects of meditation on mental health, which recently involved a randomised controlled trial of a pilot scheme to provide mindfulness courses to students at the University of Cambridge. Currently, my main project is an individual participant data meta-analysis of mindfulness-based interventions for mental health promotion (http://www.clahrc-eoe.nihr.ac.uk/2018/04/mindfulness-based-interventions-for-mental-health-promotion-a-collaborative-review-study/).
