Interests

I am interested in the cognitive evaluation of machine learning systems. I work on understanding how and why they behave the way they do, particularly with reference to physical common-sense reasoning, in an effort to build safer, more robust, and more aligned AI systems.

I have a background in psychology, philosophy, and linguistics.
