Miss Elena Mainetto
I am a Research Assistant working in Professor Fletcher’s lab on different projects aiming to study the psychological and interoceptive contribution to eating. These projects involve measurement of metabolic functioning (e.g., body composition, gut hormones), behaviour (experimental tasks), and brain activity (MRI).
My main research interest is in how eating behaviours are linked to particular brain mechanisms and neurochemical signalling (e.g. dopamine).
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
