1. Understanding the structural and functional features of spatially embedded neural networks via information theory and Ollivier-Ricci curvature. 2. Development of a coherent mathematical framework for human consciousness. Generally speaking my research interests lie in the field of complex systems analysis, specifically in the understanding of self-organisation and critical and emergent phenomena (such as consciousness in the brain).
