As part of the InPsych Lab, I am working on elucidating the possible links between inflammation and depression. We are using observational and experimental medicine studies to assess the relationship between inflammation and depression and to examine the effect of immune-modulating drugs on mood and cognition in patients with major depressive disorder. Previously, I worked in Dr Mitul Mehta’s lab in King’s College London, evaluating real-time fMRI neurofeedback in anxiety. I also trained in using EEG, TMS and tDCS techniques. Research Focus
