    Interests

I am a Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry, and a Higher Trainee in General Psychiatry in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. I recently completed an NIHR Doctoral Research Fellowship in the Department. I'm interested in the associations of cardiometabolic and mental disorders, primarily schizophrenia and depression. I'm particularly interested in prognosis research and risk prediction, and during my PhD developed the Psychosis Metabolic Risk Calculator (PsyMetRiC) - a cardiometabolic risk prediction algorithm for young people with psychosis. In addition, through the use of population-level and genetic data, my work has sought to explore shared biological mechanisms for comorbid cardiometabolic and mental disorders.
