Interests

I am investigating functional phenotypes of human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) derived Neurons, Astrocytes and Microglia generated using CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing tools and forward reprogramming technologies. My current research is focussed on understanding neuron-glia interactions in isogenic disease models of neurodevelopment and neurodegeneration using network electrophysiology and single cell transcriptomics; with the aim to establish an optimised platform for discovery and therapeutics.
