Research ThemeInterestsI study the neural signatures and processes that underlie changes in infants’ social and communicative behaviour. At present, I am working on the ERC-funded BabyRhythm project, a longitudinal study of how early cortical and motor tracking of and entrainment to auditory rhythm might predict later language and communicative skills. My other core interest is in the relations between social, motor and spatial cognitive processes in development. Research Focus
