Interests

I am in the final year of my PhD as part of the MRC Doctoral Training Programme at the University of Cambridge. As part of the Neuronal Oscillations Group in the Dept. of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience, I conduct research into the laterality of the hippocampus in health and Alzheimer’s disease, and other mechanisms relevant to its pathology. I use a scalable platform to study how in vitro and ex vivo hippocampal networks differ in aetiologically relevant transgenic mouse models, and how they respond to novel pharmacological interventions in collaboration with the Dept. of Pharmacology and UK DRI.
