    Interests

I'm a neuroscientist at Cambridge Institute for Medical Research (CIMR), University of Cambridge. My research interests aim to understand genetic alterations underlying painlessness and excess pain disorders. By analysing DNA from patients suffering from chronic pain or don't experience pain, using transgenic mice, molecular and cellular biology techniques and electrophysiology in cell lines and neurons, I try to identify cellular mechanisms driving these disorders and develop new and more effective analgesics
