Interests

I am a medical doctor interested in the interplay between one's psychosocial environment and their brain in causing mental illness. My current research focuses on the impact of early life stress on the immune system, the brain, and behaviour. In this work I use rodent, wet lab, and neuroimaging techniques, including high-resolution structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging, behavioural testing, and a range of ex vivo assays using blood, brain, and meningeal tissue.
