The 2012 MRC Max Perutz Science Writing Award
The 2012 MRC Max Perutz Science Writing Award, in partnership with Metro, will open on 1 May. The deadline for entries is Friday 8 June.
The Award is one of a number of initiatives the MRC runs to encourage, support, and reward scientists for communicating their research to the public. It is also a fantastic way of sharing stories about the work of the MRC with wide audiences. This flagship award asks young MRC scientists to write about their research in a way that would interest a non-scientific audience. It’s open to all MRC-funded PhD students as well as MRC early-career researchers with a maximum of six years’ experience following completion of their first PhD.
