Restricted Call - University of Cambridge only: Rosetrees Trust Interdisciplinary Prize 2018 for collaborative research between Medicine and either Chemistry or Physics
Applications are now open for the Rosetrees Trust Interdisciplinary Prize 2018 to stimulate collaborative research between Medicine and either Chemistry or Physics. The aim of the collaborative studies that bring together researchers from these disciplines ought to be the ambition to achieve breakthrough results that have real potential to improve human health. The proposals can relate to any disease or medical condition which affects a significant proportion of the population.
Proposals are invited for projects with a value of up to £250,000 over 3 years, which can be used to support any aspect of the proposed research.

University Internal Selection Process:
UK Institutions can submit a maximum of one application, so an internal selection process will be set up according to University’s Restricted Calls policy.
If you are interested in applying, please send your application to us at firstname.lastname@example.org by 6th of December 2017.
Each application should include:
· The attached Internal Selection Form.
· Two letters of support, one from each Head of Departments of the two PIs, confirming their support to the project and that the respective Departments are happy to host it.
Funder deadline is 28th February 2018.
