Allen Brain Atlas Online Public Resources Training Workshop

Cambridge Neuroscience is please to host a FREE Allen Brain Atlas training workshop on Wednesday, July 4th 2012 from 2-5pm.
Join us for a training workshop demonstrating the online public resources for exploring gene expression in the nervous system. Basic data access, navigation and usability will be covered, as well as more sophisticated search and visualisation features.
This workshop will touch on the full spectrum of resources available via the Allen Brain Atlas data portal (www.brain-map.org), but will focus primarily on resources and features updated in the previous data release, particularly the following data sets:
> Adult human brain
> Adult mouse brain
For a hands-on experience, attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop with Internet/Wi-Fi connectivity so that they can follow along. Please ensure that you have your laptop set up for wireless networking (preferably Eduroam rather than Lapwing). For instructions on how to do this, please click here.
Participation is free but Advance registration is required. Places are limited.

Participation is FREE but is limited to members of Cambridge Neuroscience. Please enter N/A in the grant code section of the registration form. There is no requirement to complete the dietary requirements section.
