Plenaries
Dr Alberto Chinali is the Regional Marketing Development Manager at Life Technologies and their expert in neural transfection. He will be in Cambridge on June 14th 2012. During this lecture, he will share his experience with neural transfection. In the past few months, Life Technology’s R&D division has carried out studies to demystify transfection protocols by holistically characterizing the conditions, which really play a fundamental role in giving the best efficiency and cell survival. He will present data on primary neurons identifying the parameters that really matter for success and giving you a few tips and tricks to get the most out of neuron transfection.

The Department of Pharmacology is located on the Old Addenbrooke's Site, in Tennis Court Road (which is in the centre of Cambridge). A rudimentary locator map is shown below (No. 18 is Pharmacology).
If arriving by car, note that Tennis Court Road is one-way northbound and must therefore be approached from Lensfield Road. The department has very limited parking, which must be booked in advance.
