Interests

I am interested in the following questions: How does the human brain accomplish quick and accurate object recognition? What mechanisms underlie our ability to select object information that is relevant for the current task? I study these questions using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and psychophysics. My research projects focus on what object information is represented in which brain regions, and how these regions communicate with each other under different task demands.
