Interests
I am currently investigating the neural processes and brain areas that underlie reality monitoring, the ability to distinguish between information generated internally, such as through imagination, with that obtained externally via perception. Brain areas of interest include the the anterior prefrontal cortex (PFC), the dorsolateral PFC, and the anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) (Simons et al., 2008).
