Interests
The development, evaluation and implementation of psychometric tests and psychometric testing procedures. As Director of The Psychometrics Centre I have been responsible for the UK standardisation of many of the most widely used psychometric tests used in clinical and educational diagnosis. These have included the WISC-III, WISC-IV, WORD, WOLD, WOND, WIAT, the Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal, the NEO PI-R (UK), WIAT-II, CELF-IV, Preschool CELF-III, MABC-II, Ravens Educational Progressive Matrices, and Ravens Coloured Educational Progressive Matrices. I have also been responsible for the development of several tests and questionnaires including the Rust Advanced Numerical Reasoning Appraisal (RANRA), Orpheus (a test of workplace personality), Giotto (an integrity test), the Rust Inventory of Schizotypal Thinking (RISC), The Golombok Rust Inventory of Sexual Satisfaction (GRISS), The Golombok Rust Inventory of Marital State (GRIMS), and the Preschool Activities Inventory (PSAI)
