    Interests

I work in the Cambridge Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Research Group in the Dept. of Psychiatry and as a a senior member of the Enduring Disability and/or Disadvantage clinical theme in the NIHR's CLAHRC East of England. My research interests are focused in three main areas, all relating to people with intellectual or other neurodevelopmental disabilities: a) brain and environment interactions and contributions to everyday decision-making, particularly legally-significant decisions; b) emotional and cognitive functioning, particularly in people with Down Syndrome; c) engaging people with severe intellectual disabilities in neuroscientific investigations.
