Dr George Savva

Interests

I am an epidemiologist with a background in statistics. My work is based on the MRC Cognitive Function and Ageing Study (www.cfas.ac.uk for a full description of the study), a large lognitudinal study of ageing set in the population of England and Wales, with a focus on cognitive function and dementia.

Our interests are broad but recent work has focussed on the neuropathological correlates of dementia, the epidemiology of behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia and on epidemiological models of frailty in the population.
